NET (National Eligibility Test) is associate degree examination conducted by the University Grants Commission so as to determine the eligibility for post and for award the Junior Research Fellowship. The examination is meant for Indian nationals and aims to implement uniform standards on aspirants getting into the teaching and analysis field in varied disciplines.
The UGC NET examination takes place twice a year – once in June and then in December. NET is conducted for the subsequent subjects:
